Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Slatewise by Serenity ("Slatewise", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Slatewise provides production budgeting, scheduling and client-quote tooling. It is a project-management and quoting tool — it is not an accounting or invoicing system and does not produce tax invoices.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 to use Slatewise. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Workspace admins are responsible for managing their members' access.

3. Plans, billing & cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe on a monthly or yearly basis.
• You can cancel anytime; you retain paid features until the end of the period already paid for, then the workspace reverts to the Free plan.
• Plan limits (seats, gear, projects) are enforced. Exceeding a lower plan's limits after a downgrade does not delete data, but prevents adding new items until you are within the limit or upgrade.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the data you put into Slatewise. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. For workspace content, the workspace owner is the data controller and Slatewise acts as processor; we process such data only on the controller's documented instructions (i.e. via use of the Service).

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or access other workspaces' data, no reselling the Service without our agreement, and no automated abuse of our APIs.

6. Availability

We work to keep Slatewise available and reliable but provide it "as is" without uptime guarantees. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slatewise is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
